I’ve never been here, but what I would like to say is give this place some grace. As I was scrolling through the reviews I noticed most of the ones before 8/9 months ago were great and the more recent ones were bad. They experienced a shooting where one of the owners dies and maybe it’s taking a toll.

I had been craving some barbecue rib tips for several weeks, and many of the nearby places do not serve tips. So, I drove over to try theirs for the first time. It was worth the drive. The rib tips were delicious without the sauce overpowering the flavor. The pulled pork was delicious as well, and the pork chops were good. The side dishes, cabbage, and mac & cheese were good go-withs. I'm looking forward to the next time.

I have fried fish with shrimp pasta 2x, meat loaf brown gravy, cabbage and mashed potatoes with brown gravy, stuffed chicken breast 2x green beans, Salmon Zucchini and onions with Shrimp pasta and Greens with no meat! My meal was amazing! You can actually get 4 meals for 36 depending on what you get! I spent 62 because the Salmon was 15 them desserts but as you see I like food! Meal prep for the week plus, Sunday Dinner! A hidden Gem for Sure!

Fried chicken was crispy hot and seasoned to perfection. Yams weren't too sweet just right. Cabbage was tender and peppery. And the Mac n cheese was very creamy and cheesy. And the strawberry cake was Amazing. The experience was Worth every bit 20 dollars. Customer service was on point as well.

The folks are very friendly and the food is delicious! If you're looking for real soul food that fills you up and makes you feel good... Look no further! Also prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

Ma & pas bbq is very awesome. We happened upon the place @ there old location..anytime we have eaten here the food is % true soul food. For those people that comment the food taste like it's from a can your taste buds must be on the fritz, or your smoking to much weed. I can tell that all of the food is prepared homemade with true soul & care. The employees are always so friendly, they always make us feel like family. If you want excellent soul food @ a good price then visit this place. You won't be disappointed. To be able to get catfish, meatloaf, ribs, tips, salmon patties or fried pork chops and then pick 2 sides @ the low prices they have is such a great deal. You can't find excellent awesome quality food like this anywhere. They put so many other restaurants to shame. We will be forever customers and continue to tell everyone we know to give them a try.

"So good it'll make your tongue slap your brains out" as my momma would say If you want a taste of good ole soul food, this is the place to go! The atmosphere is amazing! If you wanna feel like family this is it!! This is a lil hidden diamond.
